Position Summary
The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, organizing, and controlling daily production orders to meet customer commitments within and between departments.
Ownership
Plan production schedules to meet production and sales goals.
Analyze sales forecasts and trends with an understanding of production line capacity.
Utilize ERP system to create production work orders and develop master schedule.
Coordinate daily with replenishment team to anticipate sales adjustments/trends.
Monitor plant capabilities (human and machine) to ensure adequate resources.
Develop planning models for analysis of plant/segment and utilization that provide cost effective solutions while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Monitor inventory of finished goods SKU to maintain inventory safety stock levels.
Prepare daily and weekly Operations Summary report.
Monitor daily activities of operations and update the schedule accordingly.
Accurately reflect the FPS daily using the ERP computer program.
Effectively communicate schedule changes to all Operations Departments.
Investigate/troubleshoot inventory issues and work with other groups as needed to determine solutions. Examples include but are not limited to missed scans, missed shipments, and bad/duplicate pallet labels.
Perform daily miscellaneous receipts from the point of consumption to warehouse locations both physically and in Sage X3.

Update the presentation and lead the Tulsa daily huddle via Teams.
Ensure proper rotation of physical inventory and that FIFO is being followed during the shipping process to help eliminate short-dated product overages.
Assist with design and implementation of best practices in the warehouses and cooler with a focus on continuous improvement and FIFO.
Upholds and participates in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
This position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality.
Qualifications
Must have either a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to calculate rates, ratios, discounts, interest, and averages, as well as solve mathematical problems.
Experience and working knowledge of MS Office software and Production Summary Reporting Programs.
