About the business:

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission Statement 

To software develop interactive VR/XR applications for e-learning in Unity, according to training/game design.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop medium to larger training applications for FSE in the game engine, according to the training and game/interaction design, and other requirements.

  • Develop complex interaction chains, logic and metrics with c# in Unity, according to the training and game/interaction design and requirements.

  • Support testing, iteration, optimization.
  • Work remote with training and game designer/ level designer/ 3D artist (fluent English).

  • Work on the Unity scene with the provided 3D assets, set up UI.

  • Write interaction and logic frameworks.

  • Extract and read out metrics, data collection.

  • Publish the apps with the required stats, ensure data safety.

  • Set up hand/ object interactions.

  • Set up in game feedback, tests, etc.

  • Support setting up animations, KI, sound etc.

Your background:

  • Bachelors in degree, B. Tech / MCA or similar

  • Should have at least 3-9 years' work experience with Unity and C# in a games or industry context.

  • Experience with VR/XR projects, ideally in a training context.

  • Experience with complex logic trees or similar.

  • Ability to write frameworks, interfaces etc.

  • Ability to do quick iterations and invent stable solutions.

  • Experience with tracking, AR, hand interaction etc.

  • Experience with AI/ML is nice to have.

  • Experience interfacing with E-Learning or other training platforms.

  • Excellent communication in English.
