We are looking for a Project Development and Change Manager. In this role, you are overseeing railway projects of different size and complexity and will support the organization in serving our customers with the right products and service solutions.
Tasks:
- Adherence to contractual milestones by continuously monitoring the progress, the Risks and Opportunities which have been established by the project team at Kick-Off.
- Ensures that the project follows execution best practices and HE policies and guidelines. Effectively monitors and controls project progress, and efficient resource utilization.
- Acts as Customer voice internally, being a key contact for the customer and an escalation point for new project issues. Builds and maintains strong relationships with customer and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
- Continuous reporting to PMO (Project Management Office) out of periodic review meetings.
- Effectively communicates or facilitates communication of appropriate information to mostly internal project stakeholders
- Uses HE Tier accountability principles to escalate the critical deviations, or customer claims. Trigger and support appropriate corrective action plans, or escalation as required.
- Collects new customer demands as a formal and documented variation request, and establishes related variation offer from all stakeholders’ inputs. Follow the variation offer until it’s ordered, delivered, and invoiced.
- Controls documentation accuracy and consistency, based on Project Management processes and/or PMO guidance.
- Monitors project financials (e.g. projects costs, profitability) together with project controller.
- Captures, analyses and shares lessons learned throughout the project.
Requirements- Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Proven experience as a project manager for railway or industrial application projects
- PMP certification is an advantage
- Good knowledge of SAP and Office tools
- Ability in motivating and empowering team members
- Fluency in English, Basics in French, German is a plus.
