The opportunity
Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. The Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after sales support of generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS), including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits and replacements.

How you’ll make an impact
Serve as a strategic partner to management on culture, people, and organizational topics
Lead workforce planning and support organizational development
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on team and employee relations
Monitor and act upon HR policies and procedures
Analyze HR metrics to support decision-making
Facilitate training and development initiatives
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
Foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement
Maintain an in-office presence at least 50% of the time for collaboration and support
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is considered an advantage
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, ideally within the power and energy industry or another international company with a complex matrix organization
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the building of relationships at all levels of the organization
Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting data and providing meaningful insights
Leadership experience and a team player
Fluent in German and English, any additional language is a plus
