The opportunity

Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. The Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after sales support of generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS), including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits and replacements.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Serve as a strategic partner to management on culture, people, and organizational topics

  • Lead workforce planning and support organizational development

  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on team and employee relations

  • Monitor and act upon HR policies and procedures

  • Analyze HR metrics to support decision-making

  • Facilitate training and development initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

  • Foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement

  • Maintain an in-office presence at least 50% of the time for collaboration and support

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is considered an advantage

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, ideally within the power and energy industry or another international company with a complex matrix organization

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the building of relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting data and providing meaningful insights

  • Leadership experience and a team player

  • Fluent in German and English, any additional language is a plus
