The Battle Management Command, Control and Autonomy (BMC2A) team is seeking a recognized professional in Value Stream Leadership (VSL) to join our team as a Senior Manager (individual contributor) for Collaborative Mission Autonomy Programs and Products. This person drives strategic planning efforts, develops milestones, spearhead solutions for program problems, oversee the P&L and manages multiple important business to business/government relationships and leads contract negotiations.
This position will sit onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA but are opening to the following additional locations: Fort Wayne, IN, Sterling, VA, McKinney, TX.
What You Will Do
Oversee P&L of the advanced Autonomy Programs to ensure that profitability targets are met, while managing multiple important vendors.
Drives strategic planning efforts for Large and/or complex future autonomy captures programs.
Develops new business growth strategies.
Coordinates the negotiation, proposals, business plans, budgets and contracts for programs.
Establishes cost focused performance targets and directs work to achieve these targets.
Establishes milestones, develops and owns program plans/budgets, and actively manages program risks & opportunities.
Reviews and presents plans and progress reports, monitors the presentation of value-stream strategy, progress, and results.
Identifies and reacts to program problems and recommends solutions, such as allocation of resources and changing contractual specifications, and assists in resolution development for escalated problems.
Drives/leads responses to customer action items.
Interfaces with customers for project specifications to ensure successful completion.
What You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Must be willing to travel up to 10%
5+ years of experience with program financial analysis tools and ETC methodologies
What We Prefer
Working knowledge of collaborative autonomy technology and programs
Experience working on advanced program industry Consortiums
Experience working on software development programs, Agile Development, and DevSecOps
Experience managing strategic IRAD projects and leading cross business unit pursuits
Experience with US DoD customers and us government acquisition process including OTAs
Ability to travel regularly, including international
Existing US DoD Security Clearance
Experience with Collins Management System (CMS)

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
