How you’ll make an impact
Planning: Oversee the site planning process, including Demand Planning, Sales & Operation Planning, Master Planning, Detailed Scheduling, and Materials Planning
Fulfillment: Ensure on-time material availability on the shop floor and coordinate responses to unplanned events
Inventory Management: Own the inventory forecast and optimize inventory processes for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and contract assets
Continuous Improvement: Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize customer delivery, lead-time, inventory, material availability, and resource utilization
Warehouse Management: Prepare and manage the annual warehouse budget, develop programs to enhance warehouse performance, and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental directives
Technology Integration: Provide leadership for the development of best practices in planning systems and integrated ERPs.
People Leadership: Lead and develop the local planning, operative purchasing, order handling, and warehouse teams
Customer and Order Management: Support the profitable execution of customer and purchase orders in coordination with project management, engineering, manufacturing, and strategic procurement
Your background
Experience: Proven experience in operations planning, inventory management, and warehouse management, at least 3 years of experience as a manager
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team development skills
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and propose solutions for planning and fulfillment challenges
ERP Systems: Experience with integrated ERP systems and planning tools
Continuous Improvement: Knowledge of lean six sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and coordination skills in German and English
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle unplanned events effectively
Compliance: Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and compliance requirements
