Mission Statement:
Develops innovative and cost-effective proposals in alignment with Hitachi Energy’s standards and targets. Provides support to pre-sales technical and commercial activities for internal and external customers, in accordance with the APAC HUB strategy.
Your responsibilities:
- You will support the sales organization and customers in proposing the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Provides support during the technical meetings, product presentations, negotiations and portfolio (product/solution/service) related knowledge-sharing. Prepares technical description of the applied products and technology, determining costs, preparing final technical/ commercial documentation.
- You will ensure effective support of bid & proposal activities assigned.
- You will be involved in preparation of techno-commercial proposals through internal and external resources. Ensures all proposals follow relevant Hitachi Energy procedures and guidelines as well as contracts requirements.
- You will ensure most competitive offers considering the market situation and customer’s priorities (technical/commercial) and conditions. Identifies optimal approach (e.g., direct sales, consortium, or channel) to better serve the customers.
- You will ensure all proposals terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, pricing) are in accordance and compliance to company’s policy in each offer.
- Adequately plans and forecasts workload to meet business needs.
- You will collaborate and allocates internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation.
- You will support bid/no bid analyses and decisions. Participates and manages the deal risk review processes.
- You will ensure support to the Sales organizations during the technical meetings, product presentations, and in negotiations with customers to provides technical support and clarification as needed.
- You will lead, drive and hold itself accountable for the highest standards of health, safety, and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved. Responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensuring proactive risk assessments take place and corrective actions monitored/followed up.

Your background:
- You hold an Engineering/Trade qualifications – Electrical or equivalent.
- Required >5 years’ experience in Electrical Manufacturing or Power Industry in similar role.
- Experience across Electrical Industry within Utilities, Power T&D or Power Systems projects, especially in Substation Automation & Communication is an advantage.
- Advanced computer skills across MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Able to work with multiple stakeholders, across functions.
