Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Telecom Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in Routing protocols, Network troubleshooting and Multi protocol Label Switching.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a customer-facing role at an Internet Service Provider, carrier, content network, or Content Delivery Network.
- Experience working with cloud networking (VPC, Security Group, Access List, stateful/stateless firewall, etc.) and understanding of network operations at scale.
- Knowledge of Software Defined Networking, including the understanding of the differences between control plane, data plane, and management plane.
- Understanding cloud computing, Linux server environments, network design and deployment, managing large scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-touch operational support for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) customers and peers.
- Help customers resolve issues with network services, and assist with troubleshooting issues with connectivity and performance.
- Validate and test customer configurations in an Interoperability lab environment.
- Write workflow automation to improve the customer experience. Participate in on-call rotation for escalated issue
- Lead improvements in documentation, playbooks, and training for support organizations and
Network Operations Center (NOCs). Deliver process improvements and automated turn-up and service delivery.
