Position Summary

Facility Management:
Supervise day-to-day operations of facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable work environment.
Collaborate with teams to optimize space utilization and layout.
Implement and manage workplace services to enhance employee well-being and productivity.
Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures for effective facility management.
Supervise the procurement, maintenance, and upgrades of furniture, utilities, equipment, signage, and other needs for the facility campus.
Monitor compliance with local codes and regulations regarding building safety and fire prevention.
Enforce safety protocols to ensure employee health and well-being.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Business Units, HR, IT, and Finance, to address workplace needs.
Prepare and maintain the annual operating and capital budget for building use and facility maintenance.
Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction projects and facility acquisitions.
Review and estimate design costs, including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related expenses.
Inspect construction and installation progress to ensure conformance with established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Manage strong vendor relationships and agreements.
Prepare vendor quotes and process invoices.
Develop and schedule preventive maintenance (PM) for facilities.
Maintain a list of all facility assets.
Coordinate and manage special projects.
Support vehicle inventory and related requirements.
Develop team members and ensure their growth aligns with the business.
Establish and maintain KPIs and metrics.
Real Estate Support:
Assist the Global Facilities team in monitoring and coordinating office lease renewals, with approvals from business unit leadership, legal, and other support groups.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with landlords and leasing agents.
Provide financial reviews of estimated lease costs for each renewal.
Work with business units to establish new offices, conducting site searches with brokers and other team members (travel may be required).
Manage and maintain documents for leased properties through the real estate database.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum 5 years of successful experience in facilities management.
Exceptional customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Knowledge of HVAC, skilled trades, and other facilities specialties.
Strong communication and leadership skills with experience managing direct and indirect teams.
Familiarity with building maintenance software systems, security systems, and safety measures.
Experience in lease negotiations and real estate portfolio management.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of building operations and support.
Ability to coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams.
Strong leadership, integrity, customer focus, and quality-driven mindset.
Ability to multitask and proactively address issues.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Onsite presence required to perform tasks and oversee staff.
Periodic travel may be required.
