The Advanced Sensors program area of Raytheon’s Advanced Technology/Airborne Spectrum Dominance (ASD) business has an exciting opportunity for a Program Cost Controls Principal Specialist (grade P3). We are looking for an experienced professional to support our programs operating primarily out of McKinney, TX in a critical inter-company expanding business. You will provide comprehensive finance program implementation support using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements, including submittal of IPMR, CFSR as well as participation in required IBRs.
You must be able to communicate effectively and coordinate between a diverse team of individuals. Strict attention to detail and focus on customer satisfaction is required to ensure the team meets the bold asks of this highly active business environment.
What You Will Do
- Earned Value Management, Cost/Schedule baseline development, integration and maintenance, variance analysis and reporting, Estimate at Completion (EAC)/Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) preparation using standardized processes, tools (APEX, PRISM, PMX).
- Partner well with Program Managers, CAMs and other program team members.
- Preparation of all program reporting (IPMR, CFSR), review and on time submittal.
- Prepare internal program financial reporting and reviews.
- Monitor, status, and request program funding.
- Flexibility with schedule when deadlines are tight.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel).
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of Earned Value & Budget Baseline Management (EVMS) concepts and requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and work quality; high degree of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Security Clearance – The ability to obtain and maintain an U.S. Government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Thorough organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task parallel activities.
- Proficiency using Raytheon standardized tools (APEX, PRISM, PMX).
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to effectively convey data into information with various levels of administration, peers, and customers.
Additional Information
- This position is grade P3, Program Controls Analyst EVMS.
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
