The Production Control Analyst, Material Planning, ADM, will perform a variety of technical and business tasks in support of production factories or programs. This individual will support the associated tasks listed below which are necessary to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of which would have a significant impact to the factory and/or program’s cost and schedule requirements. This position will also directly support CORE and other continuous improvements.
What You Will Do
- Evaluate and improve process flows regarding age dated material availability, and potential production problems. Propose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due to any slips in material orders.
- Controls on-hand material through its life cycle; release purchase requisitions, returns to suppliers, ships to customers, status on incoming and recert material quality reviews.
- Support analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of Material in an MRP system; material consumption per assembly and tracking material though the assembly process.
- Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
- Evaluate and coordinate training needs to better utilize metrics and system accuracy.
- Leads projects and or teams to accomplish continuous improvement.
- ** Please Note: This position is located at the Raytheon Diné Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX- Diné Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.
- This position is an on-site role, and the selected candidate would need to be located within commuting distance of the RTX Dine facility as this position does not offer relocation.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years prior relevant work experience or Advanced Degree in a related field.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Government type processes
- Experience with PRISM SAP System
- Experience with Age Dated / Shelf-life Materials
- Experience within Supply Chain Report Analysis & Forecasting
- Experience with formula applications and creating pivot tables in MS Excel
- Experience reading and evaluating lists of materials required for production work and working with a production planning system
