- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in a business development sales pursuit role in the enterprise software, cloud, or AI space.
- Experience identifying AI use cases to solve customer challenges or selling automotive software technology to clients.
- Experience engaging with, presenting to, and building relationships with executive leaders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with voice assistants, especially in the automotive space.
- Experience with conversation AI/ML products and use cases.
- Predictive AI experience in the automotive industry.
- Deep understanding of the automotive industry, including how automotive systems are structured, and the people that own and drive these decisions.
As an AI Strategic Pursuits Lead for Automotive AI Agent (AAA), you are a key leader and go-to expert who is on the forefront of helping leading automakers transform the in-car experience using the power of generative AI to build customized, state of the art first-party voice assistant experiences. You will be on point and directly responsible for driving the overall success of these strategic pursuits, a trusted advisor to customers, and collaborating with diverse and talented cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and data scientists across Google (and sometimes Alphabet) to shape the future of in-car experiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $202,000-$287,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Build and maintain highly influential working relationships with key customer stakeholders (CxO levels) to identify opportunities, manage highly complex business cycles from initial opportunity discovery, technical and commercial diligence, evaluations, commercial, pricing, legal discussions, through landing production deployment and expanding scale consumption.
- Manage objectives and key results to achieve or exceed strategic business goals by building a clear execution plan, providing clear and actionable reporting on individual customer engagements, and forecasting the state of the business for your assigned territory.
- Partner with Google’s cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, AI Sales Specialists, etc.) to develop customer engagement and go-to-market strategies, drive pipeline, crystalize the opinion of the customer, deliver customer and market feedback, and ensure that Google delivers an excellent customer experience.
- Shape go-to-market and product strategy by leading customer engagements with first of kind solutions.
