The engine program that powers the F-35 has a high visibility position for a motivated, self-starting F135 Systems Customer Support Engineer. As part of Military Customer Support & Services, you will support customers in the field across three different US military services and multiple international customers. This role will be supporting the sustainment of the F135 propulsion system. The selected candidate will be working directly with the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) and Lockheed Martin to address F135 operational level issues.
What You Will Do:
- Answer Action Requests (AR) related to Off Board Prognostic Health Management (OBPHM) processing in Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
- Develop OBPHM requirements based on field observations and ARs; Support OBPHM Change Requests.
- Investigate and support resolution of fleet wide data quality issues to maintain fleet safety and maximize time on wing. Support F135 transition to condition-based maintenance /inspection (CBM/CBI).
- Update Maintenance Awareness Briefings slides to align with fleet needs and give briefings as required.
- Occasional weekend and off hour support will be required to support the operational fleet and depot facilities.
- 10-15% travel required.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 8+ years of experience in engineering, computer science, field service operations or equivalent.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- U.S. Military Aircraft/Engine Maintenance or equivalent civilian training
- F135 Sustainment experience is desired.
- Knowledge of engine systems operation, software development processes and configuration management.
- Project management experience.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
