As a COMSEC professional You will serve as a COMSEC account manager (KOAM) on multiple production and depot Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and traditional COMSEC Accounts in Largo, Florida.  The accounts are tiered under USAF and National Security Agency (NSA).  Your knowledge of Industrial Security, the NISPOM, and how COMSEC plays into the success of business is essential to this role.

What You Will Do

• Conduct operational and maintenance endorsements on AEHF products
• Prepare shipment, order, receipt and maintenance of COMSEC equipment and encryption key, track supersession dates
• Submit accurate and timely accounting reports
• Perform software upgrades to encryptors, secure telephone equipment, fill devices, and other COMSEC equipment
• Conduct/reconcile COMSEC inventories, compliance validations, plus incident reporting and investigation. 
• Conduct accountability transitions through the COMSEC product build process following In-Process-Accountability-Plans (IPAP) guidance. 
• Work closely with the COMSEC team, COMSEC users, program professionals, and government representatives to ensure proper application of cryptographic key,
• Validate COMSEC requirements in support of multiple U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sales, and Direct Commercial Sale contracts.
• Local travel required to other locations as necessary

Qualifications You Must Have

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Typically requires bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience in industrial security OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications We Prefer

• KMI training certification
• Familiarity with NSA CSSM Policy 3-16 and its associated references
• NSA COMSEC certification
• Experience with support of a large COMSEC account to include receipt, custody, safeguarding and destruction of production and/or depot COMSEC material
• Experience with End Cryptographic Unit management and load/fill procedures
• Experience with troubleshooting COMSEC equipment
• Experience in the management of Windows based information systems
• Knowledge of USAF COMSEC governing doctrine

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
