VCA Managed Services (VMS) is a critical component of our VCA strategy, providing our clients with the execution muscle they require to enhance performance and increase profitability. VMS brings the ‘best of Visa’ to the clients, playing the role of orchestration layer between client teams and Visa subject matter experts (SMEs).  As clients confront increased challenges in their operating environment whilst also facing capacity constraints and capability gaps, VMS helps to drive implementation or delivery of their strategic initiatives, facilitating significant and tangible value creation.

What a VMS Senior Manager – Regional Portfolio Optimization, VCA does at Visa:

Reporting to the Visa Managed Services Hub team, the Senior Manager will provide comprehensive support for regional projects, assisting clients in maximizing value from their Visa product portfolios. The role involves assimilating best practices for card portfolio optimization across various markets and supporting sales pitches for key and regional clients through stakeholder and market engagement. Responsibilities include developing holistic solutions using advisory, data solutions, and implementation, structuring project setups with optimal governance for multi-market delivery and enhancing efficiency by building a scalable partner and vendor management network for the region. This will facilitate the scaling of VMS services and the development of go-to-market plans in collaboration with subject matter experts across the organization. Success in this role requires excellence in project management, stakeholder management, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Define project scope, understand client objectives, and frame problems or opportunities.

  • Prepare client proposals and project plans, outlining dependencies, roles, responsibilities, scope, and deliverables across markets.

  • Enhance sales effectiveness by consistently capturing engagement results and impacts, and developing sales toolkits.

  • Enable project delivery by expertly managing teams within complex project structures, with support from internal resources and external vendors.

  • Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., Product, Marketing, Risk, Innovation) to execute projects leveraging Visa’s extensive resources.

  • Continuously build knowledge, surface new insights, and produce thought leadership pieces contributing to practice development.

  • Develop shared services and offshore models to improve efficiency, enhance margins, and reduce time to market.

  • Standardize end-to-end delivery processes to create a consistent approach and optimize overheads.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications

What you will need:
• Master’s degree preferably with 8-10 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, payments, consulting, or a related field.
• Expertise in card portfolio management, product management, or lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• Experience managing complex projects within matrixed organizations.
• Experience in the product marketing lifecycle, including customer profile analysis, initiative development, campaign planning, execution, and post-campaign measurement.
• Implementation experience with products or programs within financial services.
