Role/Responsibilities;
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be a core member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and executing on a vision for the PassFort product. We practice an agile, highly customer focused, and data-based approach to product development.
You will be a part of the end-to-end development of client-facing software applications, helping develop new features and product improvements.Specifically, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers to define requirements and prioritize tasks
  • Design and implement technical solutions for new products and features
  • Help define testing, monitoring, and delivery plans for your work
  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Peer review code changes
  • Learn, adapt, and propose innovative solutions to address our functional and scaling challenges

Qualifications

  • Ability to develop software in Python, Rust, JavaScript, or other programming languages
  • Ability to design maintainable APIs
  • Solid understanding of data modelling and database systems including SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with web technologies (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong analytical, reasoning and communication skills
  • Ability to guide own learning and contribute to domain knowledge building
