To strengthen our Purchasing Department, we are looking for a Senior Tactical Buyer responsible for managing procurement goods and services ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively. This role requires a deep understanding of procurement strategies, supplier management and negotiation skills along with ability to communicate fluently in French.

Your responsibilities
- Purchasing goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
- Supporting the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
- Acting as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities
- Monitoring and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
- Monitoring market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
- Providing analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities
- Preparing reports and updates as and when required
- Negotiating contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings
- Preparing and raise purchase orders and order schedules
- Building, maintaining and managing supplier relationships and keep up good communications
- Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during supplier negotiations and contracts award process.
- Conducting research for new components and suppliers
- Compiling data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation
- Assessing and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance
- Contacting suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues
Your background
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in relation to field
- At least 3- 4 years of experience in purchasing or in relation to area.
- Very good knowledge of English (B2/C1)
- Very good knowledge of French (B2/C1)
- Knowledge of SAP system and Excel
- Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding
- Experience of working closely with suppliers
- Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
