Join our dynamic team, where you will collaborate closely with executives, customers, and subject matter experts to develop content strategies and presentations for conferences and events, ensuring messages are understandable, engaging, and aligned with overarching marketing objectives. You'll conduct thorough research to gather data, information, and stories; coach presenters; and seek feedback to continually refine and enhance presentation techniques, ultimately developing best practices and delivering impactful presentations for external conferences and events.
The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience in Brand, Corporate Marketing, or Communications. You will be successful if you excel in crafting engaging presentations for diverse audiences and possess a deep understanding of HR industry dynamics. You quickly grasp new HR topics and translate them into compelling narratives. Strong communication, storytelling, and confidentiality management skills are essential.
What You'll Accomplish
- Lead content strategy for global brand event and thought leadership campaigns, ensuring that the overarching content is then reflected in owned and partner events
- Bring together insights from our marketing activities and customer research to drive the creation of compelling and emotive campaign messaging and overarching brand narratives
- Craft copy across a broad range of marketing briefs - channels include website, print collateral, digital, video scripts, email, etc.
- Brainstorm and conceptualize all manner of projects with the brand and design team, with a focus on marketing initiatives in EMEA/APAC/US
- Drive event content strategy and messaging briefs with framework, positioning, themes, and session outlines
- Work with a team of event content owners to ensure messaging and brand consistency and completed within key deadlines
- Develop recommendations and then align with Marketing, Sales, and Product on key messages and themes for presentations and speaking at external conferences and marketing events
- Interface with senior executives, clients, and partners to develop effective event presentations with strong consistent messaging addressing mixed external audiences
- Drive presentation development, working closely with speakers and others to create slides and scripts – ensuring they are at the right altitude, engaging, and refer back to other marketing/event touch points.
- Research and gather internal and external data, information, stories, and input to support the development of presentation narratives, visuals, and messages
- Seek out best practices, trends, and styles in all aspects of copywriting
- Stay up to date on new HR trends and translate them into compelling narratives.
- Coach presenters and speakers to help craft their talks and presentations based on specific event goals/messages
- Successfully manage a portfolio of simultaneous projects with different due dates and timelines
- Collect feedback and seek examples of impactful external presentations to inspire continuous improvement and advance best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications with 8 years of relevant Brand, Corporate Marketing, or Communications experience. HR industry experience preferred
- Deep experience working with senior executives and subject matter experts in developing key messages and presentations for marketing events and speaking engagements
- Demonstrated strong experience writing and editing an array of informative and engaging presentations, including executive roundtables, keynotes, webinars, and conference breakout sessions
- Existing command of HR industry topics and dynamics that impact all personas
- Ability to search and understand HR topics to provide strong evidence to support presentation messages
- Comfortable moving between ground level and the 50,000 ft view, ingesting a large amount of siloed information, and translating it into a digestible, compelling presentation or event
- A creative communicator who likes bringing new ideas and pushing for differentiation but is also practical, willing to get their hands dirty, execution-driven, and consistently meets deadlines
- Highly accountable project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills (including with presentation design firms and contractors)
- High levels of proficiency in MS Word/Google Docs and PowerPoint/Google Slides
- A natural storyteller with excellent writing skills
For this role, the estimated base salary range is listed below. In addition to base salary, your compensation package will include additional components such as equity and benefits. For sales roles, your package may also include sales commission
The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual skills, capabilities and experience, objectively assessed during the interview process.
