The Visa Digital Sales team is a newly formed sales organization with an opportunity to be a tremendous revenue growth engine for Visa. The Vice President of Digital Sales, North America will be part of an exciting new team that is at the forefront of establishing cutting-edge sales motions leveraging AI and automation, digital marketing and analytics to drive impactful demand response and targeted sales coverage for our clients and partners.
We are seeking an experienced Digital Sales Leader to build a regional digital sales hub, based in our existing office in Atlanta, that can successfully scale and manage our longtail business. The Vice President of Digital Sales, North America, is an essential role in the future state and structure of our sales strategy, focused on the people, best practices and tools necessary to sustain long-term growth and profit. This role requires a visionary leader with a strategic mindset, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for leveraging digital innovation to achieve business objectives to position the team to drive substantial revenue growth through cutting-edge sales strategies and technology utilization. In addition to requisite passion, skills, and experience, you will need to have a consistent track record in building and leading high performing teams that exceed revenue targets while developing deeper client and partner relationships.
The Vice President of Digital Sales, North America will play a pivotal role in Visa's journey towards scaling our sales and providing deeper coverage and build deeper relationships with our clients and partners. The role will include:
• Stand up and oversee the management of the North American regional digital sales center and organization to identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans and strategies
• Work together with other leaders across the company (e.g. Marketing, Client Services, Product, etc.) to execute prioritized sales initiatives and motions
• Partner with regional sales leadership to set priorities, goals, and targets aligned with regional financial and strategic goals
• Accurately forecast sales opportunities and deliver monthly sales and revenue quota to ensure profitability goals are achieved/exceeded
• Exercise strong leadership skills to maintain a team of top talent and coach, train, motivate and grow direct reports
• Directly supervise multiple Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to establish performance goals and measurements
• Provide ongoing coaching to Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to achieve targets and execution of strategic initiatives
• Conduct regular account reviews with direct reports to ensure maximum sales efforts
• Create and conduct presentations to executive decision-makers
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 12 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or 8 years relevant work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications
• 10+ years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD)
• Experience within an inside/digital sales/demand response function
•Strong leadership background with demonstrated sales organizational development, overseeing a team with multiple levels of structure
• In-depth understanding and experience in outbound/outbound sales methodologies, specifically within the Mid-Market and small business models
• Proven track record in leading teams that deliver against sales targets and experience in driving pipeline management
• Experience creating and executing customer-obsessed sales strategies and benchmarks for analyzing performance
• Deep knowledge of payments and key payments solutions especially at Visa
• Strong ability to work & influence cross-functional teams
• Exceptional analytic skills and conceptual thinking ability
• Excellent statistical and financial analysis capabilities
• Extensive forecasting and revenue recognition experience
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, fun, demanding environment
• Communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business teams, as well as across all geographies
• Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate and lead others in an ambiguous environment to achieve high levels of performance and deliver sustainable value to the organization by holding yourself and others accountable
• Strong relationship-management skills and ability to communicate effectively, and collaborate with, senior-to-exec management

Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 200,900.00 to 313,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
