This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division at our facility location in Bacchus, Utah.

Roles and Responsibilities:
This position has direct leadership responsibility for the Carbon/Carbon manufacturing activities at the Bacchus location. This position is responsible to ensure safety, quality, cost management, and production schedule objectives are met.
The successful candidate will:

Oversee the day-to-day manufacturing activities which are accomplished through subordinate technicians.

Maintain a high level of equipment uptimes.

Work with VSET leads, Engineering, Production Control, Quality and other internal and external contacts to resolve issues real-time.

Direct development and implementation of PES objectives within the Carbon/Carbon area to improve safety, reduce costs and assure product quality.

Ensure strong and open relationships with senior leadership, employees, support groups and customers.

Grow the business by working with Business Development and Research and Development team members.
Basic Qualifications:
-
9 years’ experience in manufacturing or related industries
-
Successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with and satisfy internal and external customers and suppliers as well as a demonstrated commitment to customer service.

Successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, presentation skills and ability to clearly communicate initiatives plans and expectations, and computer skills to include Word, Excel, Power Point, and Pilgrim.

Candidate should have a demonstrated commitment Northrop Grumman business Code of Ethics, and have the ability to lead others, build teams, and create an environment of continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles.

Demonstrated skill and initiative in resolving personnel conflicts and personnel performance problems/issues.

Experience in quality systems and quality management (AS9100/ISO9001)
-
Demonstrated success in managing competing priorities.
Preferred Qualification:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Engineering, or a related field
-
Previous experience managing in a team environment
-
Working knowledge of autoclaves and automated equipment
-
Proven track record maintaining high levels of equipment uptime using Operation Availability and Total Productive Maintenance methods.

Demonstrated experience using project management tools to plan and manage facility and production growth needs.

Salary Range: $90,300 - $135,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
