How you’ll make an impact
Spearhead the design and rollout of cutting-edge operational technologies, keeping us ahead of industry standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and deploy requirements for the next wave of “Smart Manufacturing” and Industry 4.0 processes
Drive innovation by implementing solutions that strengthen IT security within production, bringing together technical and organizational initiatives
Lead and support investment projects for implementing systems like Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Industrial IT/OT, and more
Champion the integration of production systems, enabling seamless connectivity with ERP/PLM for optimal data flow and control
Analyze, test, and optimize new technologies for production control, plant integration, and preventive maintenance
Assess the impact of new installations on our network, ensuring a secure, unified IT environment
Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, and local business teams to keep our tech landscape robust
Take charge of technical servers, workstations, and permission management, making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Technology, or similar
3-5 years in automation technology or related fields, with a knack for networked PLCs (e.g., STEP 7, TIA Portal) and visualization systems (WinCC, Magelis, HMI, Process Historian)
Strong grasp of network protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, serial interfaces)
Experience with MS-SQL databases and MS-Information Server
Fluent in English; German is a big plus
Project management skills and familiarity with SAP make you an ideal candidate
