The Senior Workplace Services Specialist will be a point of contact for internal and external customers seeking support and information from the Facilities organization. The Senior Workplace Services Specialist will provide support to the Director of Workplace Services and the Facilities organization to help manage company functions including office security, security badge and access assignments, manage all outside contractors in support of the Facilities Department, including records & contracts, and coordinate project activities as required and much more!
What you'll do:

Lead company efforts to develop security protocols enterprise wide. Be point of contact for security related incidents including incident reporting & management, report writing, emergency alert broadcasts, and liaise with Realtor.com and its parent company on all security related events.

Lead company efforts to develop health & safety protocols enterprise wide to include on-going management of safety program. Conduct annual evacuation drills at each of the company’s sites.

Manage local office security through video surveillance and badge access. Create and assign keys, badges, and picture ID’s as needed.

Assist in the ongoing development and daily management of the business continuity (disaster recovery) plan.

Develop and manage the sustainability program, including quarterly data gathering in partnership with the company’s parent company.

Manage space planning projects. Coordinate planning, developing, and implementing departmental moves to include workstation reconfigures & adjustments.

Help coordinate company events including logistics, vendor service contracts, insurance, ordering, setup, breakdown, and cleanup.

Assist with maintenance of office/kitchen equipment, furniture, and fixtures.

Perform a variety of building engineer duties such as hanging whiteboards, furniture repair & assembly, patching & painting, and light plumbing/electrical/HVAC as needed.

Assist with regular maintenance and general upkeep throughout the facility to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Order office supplies, facilities equipment, furniture, and fixtures as needed.

Provide general assistance to employees and manage work orders through an online ticketing system.

Perform a variety of administrative support activities relating to Shipping & Receiving to include mail delivery; processing of incoming/outgoing UPS, FedEx, USPS; and employee assistance with shipping services.

Liaise with vendors, building engineers, and property management team while fostering positive working relationships.

Liaise with Workplace Services leadership and other Facilities team members throughout the enterprise.

Provide assistance and support on projects throughout the Realtor.com enterprise. Some travel required.

What you'll bring:

Project management with emphasis on developing and implement policies and procedures.

Knowledge of office security and safety. Honeywell system management a plus.

Experience with developing, implementing, & enforcing security and safety protocols.

Experience with developing, implementing, & managing business continuity (disaster recovery) plans.

Experience with developing, implementing, & leading sustainability efforts.

Experience with Office Space spacing planning software preferred.
-
Experience The Receptionist or other visitor management software a plus.

Working knowledge OSHA standards for office environments.

Health & safety certifications a plus.

Previous security management or law enforcement experience a plus.

Detailed and customer service oriented.

Ability to multitask in a fast pace working environment.

PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft applications.

10+ years’ experience in a large office environment.
-
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and cart 100+lbs.
-
Have a neat and tidy appearance with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Hands-on experience with making repairs and modifications to a building’s infrastructure.

Hands-on experience with making repairs and modifications to modular furniture.
-
Some travel may be required
