Summary:
In this role, you will have oversight for strategy and delivery of analytic services in support of Vizient hospitals. You will drive insights from data across company data systems and domains and feed that intelligence into business systems, products, and data consumers. You will deliver data analytics and services to fulfill reporting and analytic needs to lines of business in areas of operations for our providers.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and train provider staff responsible for use and improvement of data reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) systems.
- Collaborate with services development and delivery to ensure needed data analytic services and capabilities are available and progressing as expected.
- Work closely with on-site provider resources, product specialists and consulting services to deliver data analytics and services to fulfill reporting and analytic needs to lines of business in area of operations.
- Ensure integration and alignment of activities with all analytics teams.
- Ensure that staff provides analytics services in alignment with corporate strategies for member offering and product delivery and company data governance policies.
- Provide and/or lead analytical support for provider performance improvement initiatives and lead collaboration with clinical, operational, supply, pharmacy and strategy analytics on cross-functional analysis.
- Serve as subject matter expert on Vizient measures and analytics to inform provider and Vizient stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 10 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Experience working with healthcare data required.
- Advanced capabilities in Excel including macros and PowerPoint required.
- Strong presentation and communication skills required.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with an ability to lead projects.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, Python, or BI tools desired.
- Performance Improvement / Project Management experience desired.
- Knowledge of Vizient analytical tools including the Clinical Data Base (CDB) and Procedural Analytics highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $223,200.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
