Job DescriptionThe Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team creates consumer-grade digital experiences and products that help our customers and partners be successful and realize the value of their ServiceNow investment. Leveraging the latest technologies, and built on ServiceNow’s intelligent platform, we deliver a seamless, personalized experience at every step of our customers’ journey. The products we build power digital business for ServiceNow and can even become commercially available.

What you get to do in this role:
- Develop and implement web components, templates, and workflows based on business requirements
- Working closely with Engineering Managers and other Architects in the team to co-develop best in class technical designs in building enterprise grade software.
- Working closely with UX Design team to influence technical designs
- Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and best practices for AEM development and administration
- Stay up to date with the latest web technologies.
- Developing across the full stack of Web technologies - JavaScript, AngularJS, React, HTML, CSS, and SQL
- Working in a Scrum-based Agile development process that is light on documentation and meetings and heavy on coding.
- Design and implement software that is simple, intuitive, and easy to use that will allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific business needs.
- Play a key role in the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite.
- Translate requirements and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with business and product owners, and creative designers.
- Build rich, modern web and mobile web experiences that are accessible, progressive, and responsive and performant.
To be successful in this role you have:
- Passionate programmer with 8+ years of Industry experience
- Ability to understand abstract requirements and translate them into implementations
- Ability to come up with and articulate designs and pro-actively participate in discussions with Architects
- Solid in-depth experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS,
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks like Angular, React or equivalent technologies
- Ability to work across teams & across multiple engagements
- Experience working on full-stack implementations including RESTful services, and microservices architecture, good understanding of SQL / NoSQL designs
- Knowledge of web analytics, SEO best practices, and performance optimization techniques
- Excellent communication skills to influence UX design, application design
