The Raytheon Technologies looking for a Staff Tech – Logistics in support of the Global ISR Sensors and Software business located in Westford, MA. This position will provide logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
This ONSITE role is tailored for a highly motivated, well-organized Logistics professional who embraces, thrives, and enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment. This person will liaise with other departments where appropriate to ensure the Machining meets the required demands.
This position is an onsite role. Individual will be located Westford, MA.
What You Will Do
Reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment
Plans, schedules, and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving, or the warehouse, to production
Manages material inventory, supplier integration strategies (VMI/3PL/supermarkets) and import/export controls. Partners with Industrial Engineering on packaging strategies
Qualifications You Must Have
Requires an AA/AS degree (or 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
SAP experience required.
Must work collaboratively with internal customers (Program Management, Engineering, and Supplier Quality).
Support Raytheon’s initiatives, including Supplier OTD, Cost Savings, and Continuous Improvement events.
Experience in analyzing suppliers' proposals and writing Price Analyses per the FAR and Raytheon Supply Chain policies/procedures.
Must be team-oriented, an active participant, and willing to step in for other commodities as needed.
Qualifications We Prefer
Quickly learn software programs and input accurate transactions.
Read and understand operating instructions and schedules.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of DOT, IATA shipping regulations, ITAR, and US Customs regulations.
Preferred SAP ERP experience; knowledge in inventory control and material handling.
Experience in dock/receiving/warehouse/shipping areas; DFAR & WAWF process knowledge.
Understand regulations for handling classified or sensitive materials.
Manage supplier relationships successfully.
Collaborate with internal customers (Program Management, Engineering, Supplier Quality).
Strong work ethic and multi-tasking skills.
Preferred experience in Procurement/Supply Chain.
