Work you'll do
The Special Assistant will responsible for cataloging and distributing information, assisting the Client Executive Office management, arranging schedules, screening and prioritizing mail and phone calls, maintaining executive calendars and meeting agendas, preparing materials used in executive presentations, making travel arrangements, organizing and maintaining office electronic files, safeguarding confidential information, tracking key performance management deadlines and coordinating performance management activities for management, supporting hiring and onboarding activities, support budget execution activities, facilitating the tasking and clearance process to include quality review of materials, developing communications and other written products, and completing short- and long-term administrative projects as assigned by management. This individual will be embedded into a division within our Client, and support/advise the Executive and his/her team on strategic and operational activities.

We help our clients define future state visions, develop strategic roadmaps, establish governance infrastructure, operationalize processes, measure and monitor performance, innovate through technology, and deliver quality program outcomes in an expedited, cost effective and compliant manner. Together we create more resilient communities and responsive ecosystems through incident action planning, grant risk assessments, improving grant processes and operations, future and contingency planning, and data analytics.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $63,030 to $105,050.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Must be local to the Oakland, CA area and able to come on site in Oakland, CA.
- 1+ year of experience with coordinating and scheduling.
- 1+ year of experience with Technical documentation.
Preferred:
- Active DHS Clearance.
- Experience with engaging with C Suite executives.
- Experience with emergency management.
