This position will support 1st line of defense (1LOD) third party risk management activities for the Enterprise Third Party Office (ETPO). The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the enterprise third party framework and associated reporting support. The role will collaborate with divisional risk officer delegates, business partners and other key stakeholders to deliver on third party reporting processes for the enterprise. This position will also interact with Enterprise Supply Chain as well as Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Audit. Our Impact:ETPO supports Freddie Mac mitigate 3rd party risk on an enterprise level. To help deliver on this commitment, the team engages with divisions, 2nd line and 3rd line partners to identify, assess, supervise, and mitigate risks associated with 3rd party relationships.
Your Impact:- Supporting third party risk program infrastructure elements e.g. risk and controls assessments, procedures, reporting, documentation, in collaboration with partners across the 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of Defense.
- Updating and maintaining documentation (including procedures and workflows) in support of Audits and Exams
- Facilitating timely remediation of gaps and issues related to third party program infrastructure
- Developing reporting and KRIs and critical metrics related to Third Parties
- Identifying, monitoring and managing process improvement opportunities related to reporting and data quality requirements in our third and fourth party inventories
- Monitoring and reporting on third party risk trends
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of Enterprise Third Party Office’s governance and infrastructure processes e.g. risk identification, data management, reporting, metrics, program management
- Supporting ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of experience in third party and/or operational risk management for a Financial Services firm
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
- Experience understanding data and driving meaningful insights to partners
- Prior experience completing third party reporting and analytics initiatives
- Familiarity with reporting tools that drive relevant storytelling for partners
- Project management experience requiring collaboration and coordination across multiple business areas and partner groups
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively with continuous change and competing priorities
- Ability to develop effective relationships across the firm
- Highly motivated and upbeat self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills!
- Proven experience operating at high standards of quality and accuracy within a fast-paced changing environment, including the ability to effectively and independently balance multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of succinctly communicating complex subject matter; Ability to facilitate group discussions
- Familiarity with operational risk reporting

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $94,000 - $142,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
