This position is for a professional in Global Security Technology. Responsible for carrying out security protocols, project management guidance, workflows and system administration while reviewing daily activities and irregularities to enhance the effectiveness of security standards and protocols.
Global Security Services (GSS) Technology Systems Lead is responsible for driving compliant global technology solutions that ensure protection of our critical assets worldwide. This program is focused on modernization and optimization framework to deliver innovative technology solutions from product identification to implementation. This role has advanced knowledge obtained through education and experience to support all aspects of a security technology program, to include hardware, software, design, installation, documentation, and management standards. Our approach to security minimum standards and their implementation is a risk based tiered approach to ensure security posture and compliance. This position has high visibility supporting cross-functional customers. The GSS Technology Lead must be able to work autonomously to resolve complex problems and clearly articulate policies, procedures, and practices to a diverse customer base.
What You Will Do:
Oversight and management of Security Technology systems and infrastructure including the development, deployment, stability, and vulnerability management of supported systems.
Evaluates physical security controls to provide guidance on site security posture in comparison to Global Security Services (GSS) standards. Provide recommendations for robust security technology solutions
Develops policies/procedures, standard work/operating plans, playbooks, resources, database solutions, and inventory management for systems and infrastructure associated with security technology program
Evaluate use cases for security technology solutions for end customers, working with integrators to define and recommend regulatory compliant solutions
Ensures regulatory compliance of supported security technology applications and end of line devices within scope
Conducts site assessments and analysis for standard compliance by site, and integrator installation standards
Works closely with the Global Security Services Change Control Board (CCB).
Works as a liaison between site focal points, integrators, and functional group partners
Direct oversight for managing/leading/driving security technology solutions and vendor management for professional services, completion/project tasking, and providing on-going recommendations for preferred security integration solutions
Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
3+ years experience managing system/server/application resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.
3+ years experience with process design and optimization, program management, and/or quality assurance
3+ years experience with standard software applications for communications, productivity, and presentation
Qualifications We Prefer:
Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization
Experience physical security controls and methodologies
Experience in ISO, UL, NISP, NIST/DFARS, or similar regulatory and control framework
Ability to influence and interact across a matrix environment of function and business unit leadership
Experience in physical security applications such as access control, camera surveillance, imminent threat, intrusion detection, and visitor management. Including security technology platform administration and troubleshooting
Experience in project management in one of the functional areas of physical security, facilities, digital technologies, etc.
