Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) finance team has an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional with a knack to learn, grow and succeed as a Principle Financial Planning Analyst (P3). RVS is a Product Area within the Advanced Products and Solutions (APS) portfolio of the Raytheon Business.

This position will be responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) related activities for the RVS portfolio including but not limited to, monthly forecast updates and associated financial analysis, preparing Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Short Range Outlook (SRO), and Long Range Planning (LRP) summaries and presentations. Along with being capable to perform the FP&A activities for the RVS portfolio, the employee must ensure there is effective communication between the different areas of program and finance management and be able to communicate effectively with multiple organizational levels within Raytheon and with our customers.

What You Will Do

Provide financial analysis and reporting for portfolio of programs that includes all elements of cost.

Support multiple levels of reviews, including LRP, AOP and SRO reviews.

Support with the development and submittal of monthly financial forecasts.

Support special projects including but not limited to Invoicing, Balance Sheet Cleanup and Funding analysis.

Managing the overall cash management process including timely invoicing and managing customer receipts.

Assist with cost plan effort for competitive/strategic proposals.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

Experience using SAP (APEX, PRISM, and/or BW/AO), RTN RPLAN or similar financial systems.

Qualifications We Prefer

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in an exciting environment.

Experience with proposal and negotiation efforts.

A dedicated and positive attitude with the ability to meet critical deadlines and develop reports to drive solutions and continued process improvements.

DoD Industry experience.

Advanced Excel Skills.

  • This position is grade P3, Principal, FP&A Analyst.
  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
