What You Will Do: 
  • Conducts stress, fracture and fatigue structural analysis of aerospace components. Performs structural analysis nature using conventional hand analysis and/ computer analysis.  

  • Develops and documents structural test efforts to assess structural integrity of metallic and non-metallic aerospace products.  

  • Works to design parameters to access the structural integrity of metallic and non-metallic aerospace component parts.  

  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity.  

  • Uses and validates Continuous Improvement tools to solve problems.

  • Expresses problems, issues, and opportunities to peers, supervision and leadership.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience  

  • Experience in classical hand analysis methods used in aerospace applications, along with Finite Element Analysis Tools such as NASTRAN & PATRAN or similar software applications. 

  • Experience in aircraft structural components static, durability, damage tolerance. 

  • Experience in a product development teams with engine / airframe companies highly desired.  

  • Strong background in structural analysis related to aircraft. 

  • Strong understanding of load paths and various aspects of airframe design using metals and composite materials. 

  • MRB engineering experience highly desirable. 

  • Strong technical writing and PC skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work closely as a team with other international locations. 

  • Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing 

  • Candidates must have a current travel visa to enter the USA for training and event attendance purposes. 

Qualifications We Prefer 

  • Material properties and behavior (Composite & Metallic) or structural testing experience desirable.
