Job Summary:

Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC (Nightwing) is looking for a Program Control Analyst to join our CODEX Business Unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. Nightwing is a leading provider of Cyberspace Operations, Vulnerability Research, Cyber Defense & Resiliency, Data Intelligence, Software Modernization, Engineering and systems integration solutions to military, homeland security, law enforcement and civil affairs markets worldwide. This position will perform a broad range of financial operation functions, providing financial support to various internal and external stakeholders as well as financial business partnering with the integrated program team. Responsibilities will include program financial analysis, invoice coordination and submission support, funding planning, Estimates at Completion (EAC’s), forecasting, deliverables support, spend plan updates/maintenance, billing and unbilled reconciliations, cost and labor accounting transfers, charge authorizations, expense and transactional research/analysis/reconciliations and ad hoc requirements as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field and a minimum 1 year Program Control/Accounting/Financial Analyst experience OR an Advanced degree in a related field and 0 years prior relevant experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Working knowledge of Excel capabilities (Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Tables and Get Data) and fundamental Excel formulas (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Conditionals)

Enjoy working with data, completing reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and a strong attention to detail

Self-starter with the ability to work proactively, and as a team member in a matrixed environment

Excellent initiative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an avid interest in learning and developing

Strong analytical acumen with the ability to understand financial responsibilities in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and deliver on commitments

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of customers and organization

Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Skills: 

Previous experience in a DoD contracting environment

Previous experience with Cost Reimbursement type contracts, preferably with an Award Fee component

Understands the business cycle including key program and business financial drivers

Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP))

Required Education:

The salary range for this role is 59,000 USD - 113,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
