Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Strike Business Office is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to help manage proprietary contracts valued at over $2B.  These contracts require Contractual Earned Value Management (EVM) and will be implemented using the SAP APEX EVMS/PMX tool suite. Annual sales are forecasted to be more than $500M with anticipated total value of >$2B over five years.  Finance serves as a critical business partner by providing the analysis, insight and guidance to enable strategic decision making and achieve bottom-line results.

What You Will Do

  • The individual chosen for this position will help maintain contractual EVMS, develop, present and defend monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LRE), baseline and incorporate scope expansion tasking, and support related financial forecasting.

  • They will analyze EV metrics including weekly/monthly costs incurred and provide associated leading indicator guidance to Program and Business management. 

  • The contracts have >$100M annually in material and manufacturing development, which offers the experience of integrating and managing several large suppliers as well as influence the pre-production management of units in the Factory.  

  • The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with Cost Account Managers (CAMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, Program and Finance leadership.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic

  • Typically requires 5+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3+ years prior relevant experience

  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Operations, etc.)

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Work and PowerPoint)

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in EVMS baselining, implementation, maintenance and surveillance

  • Experience with SAP

  • Strong presentation, communication, and professional skills and the ability to work independently and with some supervision and oversight

  • Proven analytical skills

  • Experience with RMD Program Management (PMX) Tool Suite

  • Ability to perform work without appreciable direction  

  • Direct communication with Government customers

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
