We’re looking for a Director of Performance Management who will drive our performance management strategy to continuously evolve how we evaluate, develop, and invest in our talent. In this role, you’ll lead the design, development, and delivery of performance management strategies that are aligned with our organizational objectives and future of work vision. This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work cross-functionally with COEs, Employee Success partners, business partners, and Technology teams to build industry leading performance processes that leverage the latest advancements in AI and technology. You will oversee performance programs from strategy to execution, ensuring we identify, measure, and differentiate performance in meaningful ways that enhance employee growth, engagement, and impact.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Leadership & Program Development: Build and lead the end-to-end performance management strategy, including our goal setting approach, Quarterly Check-Ins, and Performance Evaluations. Align performance processes with broader talent management objectives to meet current and future business needs. Drive AI integration and technological innovation in performance processes.
Technology and AI Integration: Partner with Technology teams to implement innovative, AI-powered solutions that improve performance management processes, deliver actionable insights, and enhance the employee experience.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of performance management professionals. Foster a collaborative environment where team members are empowered to innovate, grow, and deliver results that support company and talent management objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders across People Analytics, Equality, Rewards, Learning and Development, Legal, Employee Relations, Talent Leads, Business Partners, Tech/Product, Operations, Communications, Change Management, and leadership teams to ensure performance programs are relevant, scalable, and aligned with business priorities. Act as a thought leader and advisor to leadership on performance strategy and its impact on company culture. Be the face of Performance with the Business.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use data analytics and story-telling to provide insights and measure success. Make data-driven recommendations that inform key decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Change Adoption: Develop and implement change management and communication plans to ensure successful program adoption. In collaboration with change and communication partners, lead communications, training, and enablement efforts to support understanding and readiness across the organization.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and iterate on our performance management processes, integrating feedback and aligning with industry best practices to keep pace with the dynamic talent, tech, and future of work landscape.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Leadership/Organization Development (OD), Human Resources or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on performance management or talent management, preferably within fast-paced, innovative organizations.
Experience leading high-performing teams, fostering continuous learning, growth, and development.
Proven experience with performance management program design, implementation, and scaling within large, complex organizations.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making, including experience with HR analytics and success metrics.
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of building cross-functional relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with AI and emerging technologies in HR Tech and a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $159,000 to $230,600. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $174,800 to $253,600. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $190,800 to $276,600. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
