Northrop Grumman, Aerospace Systems, is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Technician 3 to join our team. This role is located in Iuka, MS.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work on various projects as assigned to help improve process and team environment.
- The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative / team setting is across all levels.
- Compiles reports, data, planning, certifications, and other items to comply with internal and customer hardware packages that will be presented to outside customers for review acceptance.
- Candidates must be highly organized, attentive to detail, possess strong computer and communication skills.
- Perform construction and wiring of control systems and test chassis working from drawings, schematics and instructions. Creative freedom on design is encouraged.
- Oversee projects and upgrades/modifications to equipment/facilities to help increase operational efficiencies. Work with TFO to help with ORI’s and inspections.
- Maintain PM’s, equipment records, and help create standard instructions
- This role will report on-site daily to our Aerospace structures Site in Iuka, MS.
- This in an onsite position, with no work from home options at the present.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Experience gathering, maintaining and compiling technical data.
- Experience in reading engineering documentation and reports including drawings and schematics.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access prior to start.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge or experience with automated equipment and control systems.
- Experience in coding or programming of motion systems.
- Proficiency with hands-on mechanical system testing and electronic metering/testing.
- Capability to understand and follow electronic work instruction documents.
- Capable of the use of calibrated measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and electrical meters.
- Proficient with manual and power tools.
- Experience with the following: read clearly interpret and accurately follow standard work and other written instructions.
Salary Range: $51,500 - $85,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
