Function
Verifies and keeps records on incoming shipments by performing the following duties.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Sort all received packages
- Receive small parcel, freight parcel packages, purchase orders, and packing slips
- Counting quantities and verifying items on purchase orders and packing slips
- Checks shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates.
- Unload inbound shipments safely
- Maintains inventory materials and supplies
- Other duties may be assigned
Essential Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
On-the-job training is provided. Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Knowledge of mathematics and grammar, including office requirement and business practices.
- Ability to read, write, and use basic mathematics and grammar.
- This job requires minor technical skills such as reading gauges or operating light equipment.
