    Position Overview

    Reporting to the Head of Sales - APJ, this role will be responsible for leading all technical aspects of Autodesk Water solutions, supporting sales representatives to directly engage with end users in India. The role uses in-depth industry, practitioner and software knowledge to uncover customer business issues and suggest improvements, thus earning status as a trusted advisor with the customer. This encompasses delivery of via product and workflow demonstrations and technical presentations which may occur in small, large and trade show venues. The role works closely with the Autodesk Water Infrastructure team to bring customer end user and management personas into alignment on digital transformation strategy as it relates to Autodesk water software.

    Responsibilities

    • Communicate and connect customer business objectives with Innovyze technology offerings to effectively deliver value messaging

    • Present Autodesk Water software to prospective customers by way of presentation and demonstration formats

    • Study and communicate engineering standards, best-practice and workflow norms from countries APAC as they relate to sanitary sewer network capacity planning and management

    • Partner with Autodesk representatives to grow, refine, and enhance their presentation abilities in a technical sense

    • Ensure that management is made aware of all relevant technical challenges faced by the product in a partner territory

    • Participate in local, state and national industry events

    • Localise existing and develop new software demonstrations

    • Participate in the creation of solution configurations such as quotes and proposed scopes of work

    • Contribute to tender submissions

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Engineering degree in relevant discipline is mandatory

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills is mandatory

    • Must have experience delivering projects using two or more of the following:

      • Sewer - InfoSWMM, Mike Urban, SewerGems, SewerCAD, MOUSE , InfoWorks ICM, XPSWMM, SewerCAD, Hec-Ras etc

      • Water - WaterGems/OpenFlows, InfoWater Pro, InfoWorks WSPro, Mike Urban, EPANET etc

    • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Infraworks, Civil3D & Revit is desirable

    • Demonstrated initiative and ability to drive decisions and get closure on recommendations and issues

    • Excellent group facilitation skills is desirable

    • Able to travel up and enjoy working with diverse groups of people with widely variable technical skills

    • Must have excellent spoken and written English skills
