Enterprise Excellence (EE) is a group within the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization that designs solutions to enhance transparency, empowers Operations and Functions to improve processes and evolves the organization through continuous improvement and simplification. The organization is responsible for defining, deploying, and driving alignment and progress against a firm-wide framework that reduces operational risk, standardizes workforce optimization, and improves process health.

Enterprise Excellence - Senior Data Engineer

The Enterprise Excellence (EE) team designs solutions to enhance transparency; empowers Operations and Functions to improve processes; and evolves the organization through continuous improvement and simplification. The organization is responsible for defining, deploying, and driving alignment against a firm-wide framework that reduces operational risk, standardizes workforce optimization, and improves process health. We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to join our ETL, automation, and integration initiatives.

Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in the other teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong Experience in Design, Configuration, Data Mapping, Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) in an extremely complex environment processing large volumes of data.
  • Skills in maximizing the high-performance capabilities and parallel execution of processes provided by Talend functionality.
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and automation - leveraging their experience & expertise in ETL tool (pref. Talend) & Database (pref. Oracle).
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using TalenD, PLSQL, and Automation services.
  • Develop data mappings, workflows, and transformations.
  • Optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency.
  • Implement data processing solutions using Talend & SQL.
  • Collaborate with data architect to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Collaborate with core technology team, production support and other groups to ensure robust controls are in place and best practices are followed.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members. Provide training and support to users on data integration tools and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data integration processes and workflows.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with organizational standards.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years of experience, Experience in data integration and ETL development.
  • Proficiency in Talend Data Integration and Talend MDM.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MSSQL).
  • Knowledge of Unix scripting in Data load processes
  • Ability to independently perform code reviews, unit and integration test case reviews
  • Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies (e.g., Python, Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of SDLC with Jira as task management tool
  • Nice to have - Some experience in a team lead or managerial role for data team

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, IT, engineering, or related discipline. Relevant Certifications are a plus.
