Marketing and Franchise Development in the U.S. Consumer Bank is focused on deploying best-in-class marketing campaigns and advertising efforts while engaging net new external partnerships to enhance our product and solutions set. The Citi Retail Services (CRS) Partner Marketing team leads all marketing efforts for the CRS business. The Partner Marketing Portfolio Strategy Lead is a strategic marketing leader who drives growth for key Citi partnerships across the client lifecycle, from account opening through retention. The individual in this partner-facing role monitors industry trends relevant to credit marketing and their industry partner(s) and adapts them for application within the CRS business and develops, manages and executes omni-channel campaigns from both Citi and partner channels to support partner growth.
The Partner Marketing Portfolio Strategy Lead will serve as a primary day-to-day contact with Citi’s Partner Management team, internal cross-functional teams, as well as external Citi Partners to drive new accounts and usage that will generate profitable sales for both Citi and for the Partners. The incumbent will be expected to challenge the status quo and drive innovation through digital and traditional marketing channels, communication sequencing, integration in the customer shopping journey and targeting optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the annual marketing plan to drive growth for key clients - inclusive of campaign strategies, sequencing, segmentation and offers
- Work with the client and agencies to create best-in-class, omnichannel marketing strategies and communications that drives customer action
- Facilitate / lead strategic and tactical marketing discussions with Partners
- Manage/facilitate necessary approvals for initiatives inclusive of funding approval, legal, and compliance and ensure all campaigns adhere to legal, compliance, and control requirements and that documentation is properly maintained
- Manage annual financial budget for applicable programs, including monthly forecast, and budget reconciliation
- Responsible for managing, tracking and coordinating multiple projects and resource planning.
- Responsible for risk and issue management, reporting on project metrics and prioritization process.
- Monitor / analyze campaign performance effectiveness as well as portfolio analytics and trends to recommend future campaign / testing strategies.

- Knowledge of private label and/or co-brand credit card marketing programs and performance drivers; understanding of credit P&L
Education, Experience:
- 10+ years of experience
- Excellent planning, forecasting, reporting and analytical skills
- Expertise with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, SharePoint, etc.
- Knowledge of private label credit cards and consumer finance a significant plus

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$144,480.00 - $216,720.00
