Team/Role Overview
Seeking an Application Development and DevOps Analyst to work on the Strategic Ledger under Citi’s Finance Transformation Program. The role entails working in the Global Finance technology team to deliver technology solutions as part of this project.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate effectively with a large global team of software engineers, business analysts, dev-ops and support staff to deliver software solutions for the business.
- Deliver advanced technology projects and providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment.
- Advise on options, risk and impact on processes or systems, recommending solutions for process efficiency improvements
What we’ll need from you
- Experience in cross-functional teams, working closely with different technology teams, architects, business analysts, and QA teams in the banking domain
- Expertise in Ab Initio ETL development and optimization for large-scale banking applications
- Expertise in Object Oriented Programming applications
- Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Expertise in leveraging DevOps practices to enhance the SDLC of applications
- Proven ability to manage, optimize, and troubleshoot complex applications with a strong focus on data.
- Expertise in working with large relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Teradata), focusing on query optimization and performance tuning.
- Understanding of core banking systems (such as retail banking, corporate banking, wealth management), and how data flows across these systems.
