Our employees are not only part of history, they’re making history. Northrop Grumman CIO - Space PMO is seeking a qualified PC Network Support Technician 3. This position will be located in Gilbert, AZ. Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Provide technical support to business area management and staff for personal computer systems software, hardware, peripheral equipment, and network connectivity.
  • Investigate information, network, and communications needs of users, and make recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
  • Provide technical support to a high demand working environment (Manufacturing / Shop Floor)
  • Provides offnet environment support to include patch management
  • Provides basic Windows server and network system administration
  • Perform root cause analysis for complex issues and document technical solutions
  • Work with software vendors to support third party applications.
  • Provide any technical support above and beyond the Tier1/2 support vendor.
  • Provide on call support for production-impacting incidents, as needed.
  • Monitors ticket queues to ensure SLAs are met
    Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Current CompTIA A+, or Network+, or Security+ certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Windows Desktop OS and Office Product Suite.
  • Experience in Active Directory configuring user and computer accounts and Group Policy
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work after hours and weekends, as needed.
    **Able to work on 12’ ladders and reach above head if needed
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
  • Linux certified or certificates in related disciplines
  • Cross-platform experience (i.e. Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.)
  • Familiarity with IT/OT convergence
  • Familiar with Cloud computing and virtualization
  • Experience using ServiceNow in an enterprise environment
  • Proficiency in remote administration and troubleshooting of desktop PCs, Visio, PowerShell.
  • Experience supporting VMware VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure).
  • Customer and detail oriented and possess good decision-making ability.

Salary Range: $51,200 - $85,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
