Work you'll do

The MDM Lead individual brings specialized experience using COTS (e.g., Informatica, Oracle, IBM, Talend, etc.) open source, and custom-developed software to successfully deliver MDM requirements. The MDM Lead is responsible for efficiently building and delivering master and reference data processes and tools. The MDM Lead will contribute to a wide variety of data management initiatives beyond just master/reference data management to include, metadata, data quality, data integration and governance support. This role will bridge the gap between business and technology to translate business requirements into actionable data requirements, creating a MDM framework that relies on reuse and repeatable processes using a core set of tools (i.e., Informatica) and technologies to support the underlying framework. The MDM Lead will oversee all analysis, definition of workflow processes, data mastery and merge/match/de-dupe business rules, and system/data synchronization processes to build and maintain "golden source" master candidate records.

The GPS AI & Data Engineering offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances for the role
  • 10+ years of experience with Master Data Management
  • 10+ years of experience architecting, designing, building, testing, and operating master/reference data management solutions.
  • 10+ years of experience with MDM Informatica, Oracle, Talend etc.
  • 10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Knowledge of data mining, machine learning, data visualization and statistical modeling

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,175 to $218,625
