Role Description:
We are seeking a Software Developer for Aisa Payments' team. The successful candidate will interact with the Development Project Manager, Development team, testing team, production support team, internal technology interface partners, as well as other departments within Citi, in addition to constant interaction with Operations and Product teams.
He/she requires exceptional communication skills across both technology and the business and will have a high degree of visibility. The candidate will be a rigorous technologist with a strong understanding of Financial Domain.
The ideal candidate will be dependable and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in a large development team in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork and collaboration. The ability to work in high-pressured environment is essential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or master's degree (in Science, Computers, Information Technology or Engineering)
- Minimum 5-8 years of proven project experience
- Minimum 5 years of practical software design and development experience in C#, .Net, ASP .Net
- Must have hands-on experience in creating enterprise grade software
- Experience in Payments domain and Payment Processing applications is a significant plus
Technical / Functional Proficiency:
- Strong development Experience in C#, .Net, ASP .Net, VB
- Proficiency in .Net windows form application development and Windows Communication foundation services
- Strong understanding of object oriented analysis and design, design patterns, high availability and concurrent programming
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft .net C#.net develop windows services and class libraries
- Experience in working on any OS (Unix, Linux, Win)
- Knowledge of database concepts and T-SQL programming using MS SQL Worked on source code management tools such as SVN, GIT, Bit Bucket Experience with SDLC methodologies and structured systems analysis and design
- Experience on build Tools Maven, Ant and other SDLC tools such as Sonar and Jenkins is good to have
- Experience in Financial industry i.e. Payment, Receivables, and Wholesale Banking etc.
Leadership Skills:
- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated sense of responsibility and capability to deliver independently & quickly
- Excellent communication skills. Clearly articulating and documenting technical and functional specifications is a key requirement
- Experience in working on a large-scale global project.
- Proactive problem-solver
- Relationship builder, team player, and results-driven with good interpersonal skills
- Promotes continuous improvement especially in quality, stability & reliability
