The Raytheon Finance Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) organization has an immediate need for a motivated and experienced Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls to join our team.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Operations and Supply Chain financials on a set of programs within a growing business area. Responsibilities include cost/schedule control and analysis, forecasting, estimate-at-completion (EAC), variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, partnering with the Program Manager, and CAM’s/IPTLs, Material Program Managers, and Mission Area PMO/Finance and provide personal involvement in the successful execution of contracts. This position will require applying complex problem-solving strategies to program issues, deep dive data analysis in PRISM and APEX, along with interpretation of findings. Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will also be required. OSC Finance serves as a critical business partner to both the Program Operations Manager (POM) and Material Program Manager (MPM) by providing the analysis, insight, and guidance to enable strategic decision-making and achieve effective bottom-line results. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and must be able to prioritize and embrace a challenging, fast paced, deadline driven environment. Professional and effective communication skills are required due to frequent interaction with program and functional leadership. This position will support an onsite role type arrangement and be supported from our Andover, MA site.
What You Will Do:
Work closely with various functional organizations during the Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) process as well as continued monitoring of these organizations’ performance
Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and data analysis for Operations Labor and Supply Chain Material (Earned Value & Non-Earned Value)
Prepare program financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, explain variances to plan, and help manage risks and opportunities
Create OSC standard program structure and baselining for new awards
Labor and Material tracking, MRP resource planning/updates (PRISM), Labor Accounting Transfers, cost transfers.
Strengthen processes with multiple functional stakeholders from beginning to end to drive internal efficiencies
Support the preparation of cost estimates for new business proposals and assist Estimating and Program Analysts in developing rationale for basis of estimates.
Rapport is of upmost priority, and it is expected that the candidate is capable of building business relationships and trust with all stakeholders.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field and 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 3 years of applicable experience.
Experience with the Microsoft Office Tool Suite, focus on Excel.
Experience in using SAP Business Systems (PRISM & APEX experience preferred).
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with generating EACs.
Experience with Analysis for Office, Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills.
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Operations, Supply Chain, Production Control, Program Management, Engineering, etc).
Earned Value Experience strongly desired
Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Goal-oriented individual who enjoys working in a Team structure.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize workload.
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, cross functional teammates & all levels of leadership
Strong leadership abilities, excellent speaking, and presentation skills
Additional Information:
This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls.
