In your role as the Senior Business Development Specialist, you will be in a market-facing role that supports the Global Business Development team by exploring new opportunities to deploy existing Shure products and innovations creatively and efficiently into professional audio applications. You will be responsible for presenting current and new microphone technology to existing and new customers to maximize market potential.

This role is remote, with candidates ideally located in Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:- Deploy existing Shure innovations creatively and efficiently into professional audio applications.
- Drive focused discussions with current customers regarding current products/technology and known applications.
- Present new products/technology to develop opportunities in new applications with new customers.
- Establish cross-functional connections to ensure cohesion and information sharing. This includes collaboration with Global Business Development, Strategy & Innovation, and Global Product Marketing.
- Refine product definitions and support the development of our go-to-market messaging.
- Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and how Shure’s products/technologies can address their specific needs in new ways.
- Assist the sales team with product demonstrations and presentations and address customer queries.
- Provide detailed product information and technical expertise.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional audio experience.
- Expertise in broadcast field production (TV/film), studio broadcasting, or sports broadcasting desired.
- Open and creative mindset to explore new opportunities to deploy innovations.
- Proven track record of successful technology application deployment.
- Ideal candidate will be located close to Shure’s Corporate Headquarters in Niles IL to be close to product development.
- Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
