Skills and Competencies
- Good Programming Skills: Familiarity with Python and ideally some experience with frameworks like LangChain, DSPy, or LlamaIndex.
- Interest in AI: A strong enthusiasm for generative AI technologies and their applications.
- Interest in Finance: Curiosity about financial markets and how AI can be applied to financial data analysis.
- Data Handling: Basic skills in data preprocessing and analysis using tools like Pandas/NumPy/SQL.
- Research Aptitude: Willingness to read and understand academic papers and other publications on AI.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Creative thinking to approach and solve problems in innovative ways.
Education
Recently completed or in final stages of completing a MSc-level degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, or other relevant field
Programming skills are essential, ideally in Python
Responsibilities
Support the development, research, and integration of Generative AI-powered solutions over a 3-month summer internship, focusing on innovative applications
- Develop Gen AI Solutions: Contribute to the design and implementation of generative AI solutions and agentic frameworks using the latest technology and ideas.
- Conduct Research: Review academic papers and industry reports, applying these ideas to solve real-world problems.
- Experimentation and Testing: Run experiments to test different model configurations and document results.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with researchers and engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing projects.
- Prepare Reports and Presentations: Document findings and present them to the team, highlighting key insights and potential improvements.

Annual base salary gross: £1.00 to £5.00. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
