Summary:
In this role, you will support the strategy development and execution of the project plans in conjunction with logistics services and solutions initiatives within hospital supply chain departments. You will gather and compile internal and external data from qualitative and quantitative sources (e.g., systems, observations, and interviews), conduct detailed analyses to generate strategic insight and interpret information to identify saving opportunities. You will provide implementation support of new supply chain processes from conception, planning, design, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
Provide implementation support of savings focusing on performance targets and/or operational improvements.
Support the consulting supply chain experts in the areas of service line management, including supply chain operations, inventory management, PAR replenishment, operating room inventory flow, and process maps.
Design and assemble stocking locations for hospital clean supply storage rooms based on product type and input from the hospital stakeholders to include clinicians and supply chain management.
Collect data from various member source systems (e.g., patient financial, material management, decision support) to use in analysis.
Conduct analyses on supply spend, operational and/or performance improvement related data. Support work to develop request for proposals (“RFPs”) and analysis of vendor responses.
Create presentations using data and other relevant inputs (e.g., interviews) to drive an action for customer performance improvement.
Provide support to consultants and senior consultants on member engagements including research, development of presentations meeting preparation, status report preparation, issue identification and tracking/updating project budgets.
Support collaboration and integration across all Advisory Solutions services.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
No prior experience required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Supply Chain Management intern experience preferred.
Ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple projects.
Must be able to be onsite daily at our client site, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, located in Columbus, Ohio.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $51,900.00 to $82,900.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
