    Position Overview

    The Technical Solutions Executive (Tech SE) is a full-time commercial technical role that partners with Mid-Market Accounts Sales Executives to drive new business growth within the Design & Manufacturing (D&M) industry in India. Your primary responsibility will be to translate customers' challenges into innovative technical solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

    This is an individual contributor role, based onsite in New Delhi, India. At Autodesk, we offer a hybrid work environment, and this role involves travel for customer engagements and Autodesk-sponsored events, up to 50% of the time.

    Responsibilities

    Account Plan Development

    • Collaborate with Mid-Market Accounts Sales Executives and cross-functional teams ("pit crew") to develop and implement strategic account plans.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Engage in joint and independent customer-facing activities, both in person and remotely.
    • Build "trusted advisor" relationships by understanding customers' processes, workflows, goals, and requirements.

    Leadership

    • Leverage your deep understanding of the D&M industry, processes, technology trends, and workflows to inspire and differentiate Autodesk as a long-term solution provider.

    Technical Discovery & Value Engineering

    • Lead discovery activities to gather customer requirements, goals, and as-is processes. Use this insight to develop business cases and qualify opportunities.
    • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers and partners to architect technical solutions that align with business outcomes.

    Customer Closure

    • Present compelling value propositions and secure the Technical Win.
    • Use powerful stories and impressive presentations to inspire and excite customers throughout the sales process.

    Collaboration

    • Develop trusted internal relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and drive new business growth.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputed institute
    • Experience:4+ years of experience in a customer-facing Presales/Technical Sales role., 5+ years of experience working in or with the Design & Manufacturing industry
    • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Autodesk solutions such as Inventor, Fusion, Vault, or Fusion Manage. Knowledge of comparable technology solutions from other SaaS/technology vendors (e.g., Siemens, Dassault, or PTC) is also valuable
