Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
  • 3 years of experience using scalable networking design or working with third-party networking products.
  • Experience troubleshooting and working with and managing external partners or customers.
  • Experience with Payments systems or domain.

As a Product Solutions Engineer working on Payments, you will work with Merchants, Issuers, Networks, and platform partners to provide digital solutions for their products, allowing end users to seamlessly save their forms of payment for use in the real world and seamlessly pay for goods online and in-store.

As a Product Solutions Engineer, you will balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop solutions, provide consulting services to our partners, build lasting relationships, and be aware of the client's needs.
  • Help partners in their day-to-day challenges by being the subject matter expert, delivering innovative and scalable solutions, and troubleshooting their technical issues.
  • Propose, design, create, and present prototypes, demos, and proofs-of-concept to a wide variety of audiences, from engineers to marketing professionals.
  • Perform implementation reviews and advocate for product features. Provide partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver business intelligence and leverage internal and external data sources to provide data insights to drive decision-making.
