The position is responsible for the design and development of webservices. The position creates design plans for the microservices based architecture and structuring the back end of an application, which manages program logic and server database interaction. The developer is required to understand the interactions between these two interfaces and possess the variety of software skills needed to work on both. Candidates with a solid desire to learn a multitude of technologies and programming languages with a can-do attitude will thrive in this role. The position requires problem-solvers able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment alongside other engineers and developers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Designing, Developing, and architecting  
• Develop and testing of backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. 
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage data effectively. 
• Work with Kafka or similar technologies to create event driven services. 
• Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on cloud platforms. 
• Maintain secure, high-quality code and follow best practices in an Agile environment. 
• Using your solid knowledge of basic and advanced Java on client facing applications and portals 
• Condensing complex requirements into specific and measurable test objectives 
• Working with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA 
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6+ years of development experience using Java 
• Significant experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud 
• Experience with Microservice Architecture 
• Work experience in creating RESTful APIs and using Swagger/OpenAPI 
• Experience working on DBs: MySQL, PostgreSQL, COSMOS DB, SQL Server, Oracle and NoSQL databases 
• Should have used Tools such as Git, Eclipse/IntelliJ 
• Experience with Maven and/or Gradle 
• Knowledge and Exposure of Cloud application development and Serverless 
• Experience with DevOps (Jenkins/Kubernetes/Helm/AWS) 
• Experience on Agile / Scrum Teams 
• Experience working with other tools such as: Docker and Kubernetes 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Domain Experience 
• Knowledge/experience with BPM tools like Camunda
• Familiarity with AI Coding tools like GitHub CoPilot
