    The Senior Developer will be part of the Freddie Mac's Enterprise Risk Management Technologies Team within Enterprise Business Technology Office. This team is responsible for partnering with the Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance organizations and is looking for an expert Developer to contribute to the configuration and integration of "out-of-the-box" ServiceNow solutions, tailoring them to meet unique business needs. In this role, you'll participate in the full software development lifecycle, working on programs that transform business. This role will be responsible for applications and data product/lake and will collaborate multi-discipline technology teams, provide technical solutions and ensure alignment between program, business, and Enterprise objectives and strategies.

    Our Impact:

    • Delivery of Enterprise Risk Management solutions to optimally assess and track all risks, issues, controls, and compliance.

    • Delivery and support of solutions for common Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) data platform to enable effective ERM data analytics and reporting.

    • Adoption of FHFA comprehensive Regulatory Reporting modifications and resolution of outstanding data quality issues.

    • Collaborate with other IT teams to advance our technical capabilities, automate and optimize processes to meet business challenges

    • Work as a part of a high performing agile team

    • Up to date  with industry/enterprise  standards and general principles, theories, concepts, documentation and techniques.

    • Contribute and participate in design and code reviews.

    • Understand Business Requirements, participate in Requirements Analysis, design applications based on System Requirements and Architecture, prototype if necessary, develop, unit test and deploy the application.

    • Build Micro Services based solutions using Java/JEE frameworks, Docker and Open Shift. Newly created Micro Services will replace legacy Java/JEE monolithic application.

    • Build test automation suite to fully test the applications and features.

    • Contribute in creation of and maintenance of delivery pipelines for newly created services/solutions.

    • Support defect and incident resolution, remediate security vulnerabilities and technical debt.

    Qualifications:

    • College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred

    • Typically has 5 - 7 years related experience

    • Preferred experience – Hands on experience in Service Now Platform

    • Experience applying Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), and Static Code analysis to improve quality and reliability of delivery

    • 3-5 years of experience in Design and Development of Applications and Web Services using Java EE, Spring / Spring Boot. Python

    • Java presentation frameworks experience – Angular or similar frameworks

    • Integration experience using Web Services /REST and EJB preferably on Tomcat.

    • Experience in code delivery pipelines and experience with Maven, Jenkins, Spinnaker

    Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site.

    This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $127,000 - $191,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
